18K Clarifier Tanks
Blue Tank & Pump Rental has developed its own version of a clarifier that is rated for flow rates up to 250 GPM and is based upon a 18,000 gallon open-top “frac” tank. Because of this, the unit can easily be mobilized to and placed on site while maintaining a small footprint. The clarifier features a combination of weir walls and a tube style insert that provides an inclined area to promote the separation of flocculated solids from the wastewater stream. The flocculated solids are collected in the bottom of the tank and contained in five “V” notches spread the length of the tank. These notches are plumbed to a manifold, allowing the sludge to be pumped from the bottom of the tank. Blue Tank & Pump Rental has also developed an automated control system that would allow a pump to autonomously pump this sludge at time intervals. The clarified water is collected into notched channels where it flows into a separate chamber. From here, the clarified water can gravity flow or be pumped out.
Blue Tank & Pump Rental has also developed its own chemical dosing conex that is able to autonomously dose specific amounts of polymers, coagulants, and other chemicals into the wastewater where it is able to flocculate through floc tubes and continue into the clarifier. The chemical dosing is proportional to the wastewater stream’s flow rate and requires minimal interference from an operator aside from routine maintenance and quality checks.
Features:
- Self-contained unit utilized to effectively separate solids from wastewater.
- Used in conjunction with a Chemical Dosing Conex.
- The Chemical Dosing Conex adds polymer and coagulants to the wastewater to encourage the precipitation process of the solids.
- Clean effluent water can be further processed using disinfection methods, such as UV.
- Flow rates up to 250 GPM
- Designed with mobility in mind. This allows for efficient setup and teardown.
- Blue Tank & Pump Rental offers competent staff with experience operating our clarifier systems, or we can train your employees to operate it on their own.
