Dry Prime Pumps
Our Solids Handling Dry Prime Pumps, manufactured by Thompson Pump for Blue Tank and Pump Rental, range from 4” to 18” and are available in trailer-mounted and skid-mounted diesel-powered units. With the capability of handling up to a 3” solid and offering both open and closed impeller options, we can size the pump to fit a customer’s application, ensuring they get the right pump for the job.
These units are equipped with a compressor/venturi system, allowing them to prime themselves without requiring manual filling of the volute. We also offer auto-start floats, level control, and pressure-controlled operation, providing reliability and efficiency by ensuring the pump runs only when needed.
