This high load allows the generators with tier 4 engines to properly execute their emission regeneration cycles. During these cycles, the generators remove particulate matter (excess soot) from the engine’s exhaust in order to remain in compliance with EPA regulations and reduce harmful emissions. Most importantly, this step ensures that one of our knowledgeable mechanics is able to personally operate the generator at consistent time intervals, see the generator run at a demanding load while analyzing critical engine data, and confirm that we are able to send the best equipment to our customers when they need it most.
