Water treatment systems are common projects for Blue Tank and Pump Rental. We have experience implementing anything from oil water separators to entire waste water treatment plants. Past Projects
Bypass Pumps
When a digestor tank catastrophically failed at a local municipality, we set pumps to bypass the sewage to frac tanks with aerators and bacteria to treat the water. Then we ran the water to clarifiers to capture the solids. Then we chlorinated/dechlorinated the water to finish the process. This project lasted for approximately 9 months while the sewer was diverted to another plant and brought online.
Landfill Treatment
Leachate from a historical landfill was being discharged into a nearby stream from an high volume underground stream. The primary contaminant was ammonia. At first the water was contained and hauled for offsite disposal. With the large volume of water needing hauled a onsite wastewater treatment plant was justified and saved the project 1000’s of dollars per day compared to hauling and disposing. We brought in multiple frac tanks, pumps and piping to plumb together a temporary waste water treatment system capable in treating the water with the elevated ammonia levels. This in turn reduced transportation and disposal cost allowing for a much more economical way to handle the water.
